Yoga awakens a new way to experience awareness within yourself and your life. Megan Whitney discovered yoga while earning her Landscape Architecture degree at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Inspired by the benefits of developing compassion, strength, focus, and self-awareness in her own life through yoga, Megan sought to share its benefits with her community. In 2010 Megan studied Viniyoga, earning her 200 Hour Certification at Thia Ashonoah’s Sangha Circle Yoga Studies Program under the majestic redwood trees of Occidental, California. She completed her second 200 Hour Certification studying Vinyasa in 2012, and a 300 Hour Certification studying with Peter Stereos in 2015. As a yoga teacher, Megan aspires to creatively invite others to deepen their awareness, be empowered by the connection to their own inner wisdom, and to uncover yoga that supports where they are and where they are going.

Andrew Stackhouse Co-Owns SLO Yoga Center with this wife Steph. He started practicing yoga in 2007. Yoga was a challenge at first, but soon turned into a passion. He gradually found that yoga practice is a moving meditation that had many benefits in his life both spiritually and physically. In 2012, he completed a 200-hour teacher training at the Ashram Yoga Studio in Kirkland, WA. He has also completed Level 1 Teacher Training in Baptiste Power Yoga with Baron Baptiste. When he's not teaching and practicing yoga at the studio, he's hiking the trails with his wife and dog and spending time with his two daughters, Kaya and Zoe. He is honored to assist Meg with 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at SLO Yoga Center. Sharing this practice with the community and helping instructors find their own unique voice, confidence, and style is an opportunity for which he is eternally grateful.
